ACHTUNG: Der Oman plant, demnächst für alle Nationalitäten die Visa-Pflicht im Voraus einzuführen.
Daher wird es den Reisenden, die das Visum bei Ankunft erwerben wollen, schon jetzt sehr unbequem gemacht.
Es ist nur noch 1 Visa-Schalter geöffnet, wodurch sehr lange Schlangen und Wartezeiten von 2-4 Stunden entstehen können.
Wer einen Hotel-Transfer gebucht hat, wird diesen auf jeden Fall verpassen, und auch die Suche nach dem Koffer ist dann oft sehr mühselig. Daher ist auch jetzt schon eine Visa-Beantragung im Voraus für alle Reisenden sehr zu empfehlen !

(Ein Personalausweis/ID wird nicht akzeptiert, und seit Kurzem auch KEIN VORLÄUFIGER REISEPASS mehr !!!)
Sie benötigen unbedingt einen ganz normalen Reisepass ! Dieser muss bei der Einreise noch mind. 6 Monate gültig sein und sollte keine Stempel von evtl. früheren Reisen nach Israel enthalten.

Zur Zeit leider keine Visabeantragung für Staatsbürger des KOSOVO, IRAK, SYRIEN, AFGHANISTAN, PAKISTAN, ALGERIEN, ISRAEL, JEMEN, ÄGYPTEN, NIGERIA & BANGLADESH möglich!

ATTENTION: Oman is planning to introduce an advance visa requirement for all nationalities in the near future.
Therefore, it is already very inconvenient for travellers who want to obtain a visa on arrival.
Only 1 visa counter is still open, which can result in very long queues and waiting times of 2-4 hours.
If you have booked a hotel transfer, you will definitely miss it, and searching for your suitcase is often very tedious. It is therefore highly recommended that all travellers apply for a visa in advance!

(An identity card/ID is not accepted, and as of recently, NO PRELIMINARY PASSPORT !!!)
You absolutely need a normal passport! This must be valid for at least 6 months at the time of entry and should not contain any stamps from previous trips to Israel.

Unfortunately, it is currently not possible for citizens of KOSOVO, IRAQ, SYRIA, AFGHANISTAN, PAKISTAN, ALGERIA, ISRAEL, YEMEN, EGYPT, NIGERIA & BANGLADESH to apply for a visa!
