Since December 2021, visas for Thailand have been issued only in electronic form.

Starting 1 May 2025, all foreign nationals entering Thailand must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online.

Nationals entitled to a visa exemption (as indicated in the list below) may enter Thailand without a visa via land border checkpoints only twice per calendar year. Entry through international airports is not affected by this regulation.

Foreigners entering Thailand under the Tourist Visa Exemption category who wish to leave and re-enter may only stay for a cumulative duration of no more than 90 days within six months from the date of first entry. (The passport must be valid for at least six months upon returning to the country of residence.)
