In general, Swiss citizens do not need a visa for stays of up to 30 days, nor do they need a letter of invitation. For longer stays, a B1, B2, or B3 business visa is required.

The single-entry B1 business visa is valid for up to 90 days, with a right of stay in Kazakhstan of 60 days. The multiple-entry B1 visa is valid for up to 1 year, with a right of stay in Kazakhstan of 60 days per entry.

The single-entry B2 business visa is valid for up to 90 days, with a right of stay in Kazakhstan of 30 days. The multiple-entry B2 visa is valid for up to 180 days, with a right to stay in Kazakhstan for 90 days per entry.

The single-entry B3 business visa is valid for up to 90 days, with a right to stay in Kazakhstan for 30 days. The multiple-entry B3 visa is valid for up to 1 year, with a right to stay in Kazakhstan for 60 days per entry.
