Update from November 20, 2025

Starting the 20 November 2025, foreign nationals entering China, whether with or without a visa, will be able to fill out the arrival card online.

Visa for China – No longer required to appear in person:

Effective immediately and until further notice, single- and double-entry visas can be issued without fingerprint collection.
It is therefore no longer necessary to appear in person at the visa center.
(Exception: multiple-entry visas)

Note regarding the questionnaire:
Our questionnaire is intended solely for internal preparation in order to correctly enter the data into the official online form.
It is not meant to be submitted directly to the visa center.
Please complete it in full on a computer to avoid delays.
